Focus Checklist!

Our focus checklist helps you streamline your week and ensure you stay focused on what truly matters — no matter how busy you get!

Take a look at your week ahead. Visualize how you want it to go. If it’s filled with a lot of ‘busyness’ let’s dive into how to stay focused on what matters most.

What I mean, when I say what matters most, is — getting done what needs to get done and protecting your overall wellbeing in the process. I’ve provided three suggestions below that I personally find helpful for focusing on what matters and staying calm during a busy week.

1. GET CLEAR ON YOUR BIG 3

At the beginning of the week, get clear on the 3 main goals and tasks you need to get done by the end of the week.

These are your big 3 need-to-dos! Set a reminder for each day of the week for your big 3. Make a check list and leave space for notes, in case you need to double back to the task later in the week.

Visual reminders for the big 3 are super convenient and I highly recommend using them in some form. The Apple calenders or Google calendars are great for when you’re on the go.

Get clear on your big 3!

2. MAKE SPACE FOR CREATIVE TIME AND FREE PLAY

Creativity and play, while trying to stay focused? Yes! Block off an hour (minimum) for creativity. No other work, just you and a moment to get creative. Use this time toward a specific project or creative free play!

This creative break will help you clear your mind and actually enhance your focus on your work and other tasks during the week. It’s also beneficial toward your relaxation and recharging your mind.

Make space for creative time and free play!

3. SCHEDULE IN DOWNTIME

Taking a 10-15 minute walk right after lunch or immediately after finishing a meeting, ensures that you’ll less likely skip it.

Scheduling in some downtime, especially if it’s anchored after a task, is important for your productivity, sanity and wellbeing! Another bit of downtime at the end of the day is a great way to reflect and see the wins you achieved during that day and make notes on what to do the following day.

Schedule in downtime!

How are you implementing our focus checklist and these steps this week?

It’s not about doing more, more, more. It’s about taking what needs to get done and streamlining it to fit your week, while elevating calmness and focus.

Believing in your victory!
